Celebrate Wisconsin's rich beer brewing history by taking in Wisconsin Public Television's production, "Bottoms Up: Wisconsin's Historic Bars and Breweries," at the Wisconsin Historical Museum. The video will air hourly beginning at 9 am and is a companion piece to the Wisconsin Historical Society Press book, 'Bottoms Up: A Toast to Wisconsin's Historic Bars & Breweries.' This event is being held in conjunction with Madison Craft Beer Week.

In conjunction with Madison Craft Beer Week, historian and author Martin Hintz will share the rich heritage of Pabst, Schlitz, Gettelman and Miller — the folks who turned Milwaukee into the beer capital of the world. Following the program Hintz will sign copies of his book, 'A Spirited History of Milwaukee Brews and Booze.' This event is being held in conjunction with Madison Craft Beer Week.

Explore the rich culinary history, delicious indigenous ingredients, and remarkable foodways of Wisconsin. Celebrate Madison Craft Beer Week and join award-winning author Jerry Apps as he tells the story of the Dairy State's other major industry: beer. Discover how German immigrants brought beer to Wisconsin and spawned the creation of nearly 200 breweries, how Prohibition nearly ended the industry, and how a new wave of microbreweries and brewpubs in Wisconsin is bringing beer back to its delicious roots. A sampling of Potosi Brewing Company beers and a pub-style dinner by Brocach will complement the presentation. A book signing will follow the program. This event is being held in conjunction with Madison Craft Beer Week.

Join Steve Buszka from Potosi Brewing Company and Jeanne Carpenter from Wisconsin Cheese Originals as they pair some of Potosi Brewing Company's delicious brews with Wisconsin's finest cheeses. Five pairings will be explored. Buszka and Carpenter will also share tips on creating your own flavor combinations. This event is being held in conjunction with Madison Craft Beer Week.

Whether you were born in Wisconsin, came for school, or are here for the first time, we all have a favorite Wisconsin memory. Join us as local Wisconsinites Kaleem Caire, Darcy Luoma, James Tye, and Troy Vosseller share their uniquely Wisconsin story and tell us how their memories have shaped their lives today. With a blend of community outreach, politics, environmentalism and entrepreneurship, each of these extremely driven speakers will help show us what Wisconsin is all about. After the event, be sure to leave your own Wisconsin memory on our Memory Wall (fourth floor).
This event is being held in conjunction with Wisconsin Museums Week and International Museums Day, celebrating the positive impact that museums have on their communities.

Richard Quinney presents the story about a few acres of land purchased in Walworth County, Wisconsin in 1868. The land became a 160-acre farm that went on to support and provide a rich background for the lives of the generations that followed. Following the program Quinney will sign copies of his book, 'A Farm in Wisconsin.'
